daytime
the focus of brightness
illuminates ideas
whose flow
spirals frantically
towards
new offerings
expansions of products
glimmering shiny ways
to connect
and touch
my soul-family
as light fades
the moon takes her venerate place
in my heart
guiding me back
to my place
I’m drawn into the Infinite
through her intimate doorways
through the beauty in small things
her intricate details
and when the moon’s shine is hidden
when her face looks away
I feel her pull more strongly
into the depths of me
into the Infinite in my own heart
and when her gaze is full upon me
when her light falls to earth
unflitered
my heart soars
its bigness unfettered
by the usual constraints
brilliantly dancing beyond my edges
which of her faces do I prefer?
how can I choose between the Infinite within
and the Infinite beyond?
twin energies swimming together
with all of my soul-family
in the River of Gratitude

Im learning about the Zen tradition, and read last night: the most important teaching is the oneness in duality: not two, and not one. I think you captured this essence beautifully here. xo
Sugar, I never cease to be amazed at the breadth of your talent. You write poetry and snap photos that take my breath away, and at the same time, you teach and share your vast knowledge of how to move around the hallways of social media. This is so beautiful. You are so beautiful. And I am so grateful – not just for being included here with this host of talent and knowledge you’ve gathered, but that our paths have crossed and you are in my life.

This: “how can I choose between the Infinite within
and the Infinite beyond?” – gasp!
